My impressions
A secluded village, safe from the turmoil of the outside world. Alas,
youthful spirit and a sense of adventure beckons one of the young man. His
younger brother follows suit and we have an adventure.
The bond between brothers, the atrocities of war, the unequal treatment
of fellow men are all subjects on display.
A happy ending might be a given, but how the director pulls us along is
a pleasure. Emotional roller coaster as well, since the sins of man is aplenty.
Sad in some parts, joy in others.
