Bill Murray is the main character and the story unfolds when he received a letter from one of his ex girl friends. The letter is not signed but just says that he has a son who might be searching for him. His neighbour is more interested in solving the mystery and arranges everything for Bill to start on his journey of discovery. Along the way, Bill discovers what has happened to his girl friends. All the ex girl friends lead their own lives after their affair with Bill. Bill himself comes to a sort of crossroad thinking of what his life has given him. A middle aged man with no family going through the motions of daily life. Is that all there is to life?
