A social studies professor's seemingly ideal life gets complicated when his girlfriend gets involved in a policeman's murder. His affair with the girlfriend is now public news and comes as a shock to his wife and son. The policeman's widow becomes a fixture in his life too through his involvement with the girlfriend. Friendship, loyalty, love and guilt surfaces in a heady mixture. The professor's remorse seems to find no solution as he struggles to carry on with his life in his newly found and self made predicament.
